JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – The Bogor Police Satlantas will implement a system even odd on the path to Peak areaBogor Regency today, Tuesday (3/5/2022) in order to suppress the density of community mobility.
The inspection of the vehicle restrictions will be carried out at Simpang Gadog. However, the implementation is situational or depends on the conditions on the ground.
“We will see an increase in the flow of vehicles, tomorrow morning we will apply again odd-even for vehicles going to the Puncak area, starting in the morning,” said KBO Traffic Police Bogor Iptu Ketut Laswarjana, Monday (2/5/2022).

He said odd-even is intended to prevent traffic jams traffic in the Peak area. Vehicles whose license plates do not match the odd or even date will be turned back to the area of origin.
“We will keep turning back if we don’t comply with the odd-even rule. Except for the vehicles that have been excluded, yes,” said Ketut.
Previously, the Bogor Police did not apply a one-way or odd-even route on the Puncak route on the first day of Eid.
The police said that odd-even was not applied to make it easier for people to carry out their activities on the first day of Eid.

“Currently there is an increase in the flow and we also do not carry out traffic engineering. Because many Puncak people are in friendship,” said Ketut.
“So today we prioritize local people who carry out friendships with their respective families in the Puncak area,” he said again.
