Before the weekend, NVIDIA confirmed the release date of the graphics card GeForce RTX 3070 was moved to October 29. The graphs show that The RTX 3070 offers slightly higher performance than the RTX 2080 Tibut in some cases the card is slower (Borderlands / Blender / TimeSpy Extreme). The card, on the other hand, offers 147% to 163% of the RTX 2070’s gaming performance and 153% to 226% of the synthetic benchmarks.
NVIDIA officially claims that the RTX 3070 is on average 60% faster than the RTX 2070: “In a range of ray traced titles as well as DirectX and Vulkan, the GeForce RTX 3070 offers similar or higher performance than the GeForce RTX 2080 Ti (sold at twice the price) and is on average 60% faster than the GeForce RTX 2070.” The card will make its debut on October 29, and there will also be a flood of reviews that day, meaning there will be little time to see the card’s performance and buy it before they sell out. However, when looking at the RTX 3080 and RTX 3090 issues, this time around, many volunteers will wait until the early bugs become apparent.
