Nvidia will double the price of the paid version of the GeForce NOW cloud gaming service for new customers from EUR 5 to EUR 10 per month. Current subscribers can continue to use the service indefinitely for 5 euros per month, according to Nvidia.
Service name changes from Founders to Priority, says Nvidia. Customers can opt for a subscription of 10 euros per month or 100 euros for a year. Those are the same prices as in dollars: for Americans it costs $ 10 a month.
Founders subscribers can continue to use the service for $ 5 per month as long as they pay and GeForce NOW remains available domestically. The low price also expires as soon as they choose a different method of payment.
GeForce NOW has nearly ten million users, according to Nvidia; that’s far more than the six million that Nvidia has called last month. There is also a free version with limited play time, which will remain. Geforce Now can be closed to everyone since last year. Nvidia’s GeForce NOW is a streaming service where gamers can run their previously purchased games on Nvidia hardware in the cloud. For example, games can be played on devices that do not have a powerful video card themselves.
