What was once compiled into a 12-CD collection titled “Por Fin Es Friday” is now being broken down and enhanced via “Now That’s What I Call Music,” specializing in disco classics with performers like Amii Stewart. and her version of “Light My Fire”, Gloria Gaynor and her “I Will Survive”, as well as Diana Ross and her “Love Hangover”.

Remixes of New Wave and Post-Punk bands are added, such as Blondie and his “Heart of Glass”, Japan and his “Life in Tokyo”, Public Image Limited and his “Death Disco”, among others.

The first compact includes the 12-inch version of Elton John’s “Are You Ready for Love”; the rare long version of Wings’ “Goodnight Tonight” not included on any album; the seven-minute cut “We Don’t Talk Anymore” by Cliff Richard; “Hit Me With Your Rhythm Stick” by Ian Dury & The Blockheads, and the full version of “Rock Lobster” by the B-52’s. The classics “Pop Muzik” by M and “Lucky Number” by Lene Lovich are also added.

In the second compact we will find pieces like “Beat The Clock” by Sparks, “From East to West” by Voyage, “Rivers of Babylon” by Boney M, “The Runner” by The Three Degrees and another rarity: the version of 7: 35 minutes exclusively for DJs of “Star Wars/Cantina Band” by Meco Monardo.

CDs three and four contain the hits “Boogie Wonderland” by Earth Wind & Fire and The Emotions, “Ain’t No Stoppin’ Us Now” by McFadden & Whitehead; Heatwave’s “Boogie Nights”; Dan Hartman’s “Relight My Fire”; Grace Jones’s “I Need a Man,” and the 17-minute version of Donna Summer’s “MacArthur Park Suite.”

The four CD set contains 42 extended versions, priced at less than £10 plus shipping; It will be released on September 2.
