The catalans have taken to the beaches of the Catalan capital in the first week-end in which bathing is permitted after that, last Monday, the health region entered the phase 2 of the desescalada. The city Council has concluded this Saturday, the installation of the 18 videosensores that allow to measure the occupancy of the top ten beaches of the city and go by regulating their capacity as they are filling up with users. The Hall maintains that, to ensure social distancing, the capacity of the 10 beaches should be between 25,000 and 38,000 people, because each user uses between six and nine square metres of sand depending on if you are going alone or in a group.
