Northern Irish tourist Andrew (31) has been missing in Amsterdam since Monday | Inland

Furey was in Amsterdam with two brothers and a cousin. He wasn’t doing well. He was in a bad mood when he decided to leave on his own on Monday. Since then, his fellow passengers have not heard from him. His phone has not been answered since.

Furey comes from Lisburn in Northern Ireland and has a lot more family there. His sister has indicated to the Amsterdam police, among other things, that her brother is gone. They try to find him through flyers and calls in the media. “We are very concerned,” she says by email.

The Amsterdam police take the missing person seriously and have officially listed Furey as missing in the system since Friday morning.
