North Korea has sent an economic delegation to Iran, led by North Korean Foreign Minister Jun Jong-ho, North Korean state news agency KCNA reported on Wednesday.
According to experts, the meeting increases the risk that the two countries will cooperate in their weapons programs.
The last time a similar delegation visited Iran was in 2019, when Pak Cholmin, the former vice president of the Supreme People’s Assembly, discussed cooperation between the two countries.
