AC Milan won 1-0 in Rome on the field of Lazio, who finished the match at eight, during the opening match of the 27th day of the Italian Championship, Friday.

Milan (56 pts), still third, temporarily comes back one step behind Juventus (2nd) which travels to Naples (9th) on Sunday.

The Roman club, still eighth (40 pts), played with ten men from the 57th minute, their left side Luka Pellegrini having collected a second yellow card.

Pellegrini, who wrongly thought that the game was going to be stopped due to the injury of a teammate, roughly grabbed Christian Pulisic who was running along the touchline.

Inter Milan, quiet leader of the ranking with twelve lengths ahead of Juve, hosts Genoa (12th) on Monday at the end of the day.
