Last Saturday during the Road America event in the NASCAR XFINITY Series, Noah Gragson did not hesitate to swing one of his opponents, in this case Sage Karam, creating a big accident, this Wednesday the JR Motorsports driver has been sanctioned.
30 points and a $35,000 fine, such is the sanction imposed on Noah Gragson at the end of the Road America event in the NASCAR XFINITY Series. As a reminder, the JR Motorsports driver was the cause of a big accident by swinging Sage Karam. The JR Motorsports also lost 30 points in the owners’ standings.
According to NASCAR, it is articles 4.4.C (Intentional accident – editor’s note) and 4.4.E (Action to the detriment of motor racing – editor’s note) which are put forward to explain the sanction of Noah Gragson and his team.
This Wednesday, a few hours before the announcement of the sanction, Noah Gragson had admitted having made a mistake during an interview in the program “On Track” on SiriusXM NASCAR.
