No, this robot image does not tease GTA 6 – JAPANFM

I understand that many of you want Grand Theft Auto 6 news or information, but that’s not all. And this is not how you will learn GTA 6.

Recently, the exact date doesn’t matter, Rockstar has updated its website to include new images. Two of these images caught the attention of Reddit and some GTA Fans. One image showed a robot with champagne and the other image was the Rockstar logo with random numbers and shapes. For some reason, quite a few people got excited and wondered if these images were teasing from Rockstar about a GTA 6 or maybe even Bully 2?

Well, here’s the bad news. These two images do not tease anything.

I have been visiting the Rockstar website for a very, very long time. I’ve seen the various site updates. There was a period when the site was unusable on mobile. Now it works very well and looks good. Despite all of these changes, one thing has remained the same: Rockstar’s website is vibrant and filled with constantly changing artwork and currency.

And in all my time writing about Rockstar games, I’ve never heard of them using these random works of art to tease or announce a brand new game. Sure, some of them may be eggs Easter or inside jokes, but the vast majority are just cool works of art created to improve the site and changed randomly each time you visit.

Some eagle-eyed fans spotted the year “1998” on the bottle in the robot image and wondered if it was a reference to GTA San Andreas, which takes place in the 90s. Maybe GTA 6 is a sequel to San Andreas? Or maybe it was in the 90s? But the most likely answer is that Rockstar Games was founded in 1998 and this work refers to that.

So no, the robot does not tease GTA 6 or one GTA San Andreas remake. It’s just a cool robot with a little Easter egg.

The wait GTA 6 has been and continues to be for a long time. At seven and over, it’s the biggest gap between Grand Theft Auto games since the five-year wait between GTA IV and GTA V. So I understand why some fans are desperate to have information or details about the rest of GTA V. And in the past two years, I’ve seen an increase in the number of fake videos, tweets, rumors and more on GTA 6. Don’t let random Reddit posts and trolls fool you or your friends. Remember how many incorrect rumors about GTA V floated before the release or the revelation of the game?

Your best bet to find out more GTA 6 or any future Rockstar game will follow them on Twitter or Instagram. They always post new game announcements and trailers.

Of course, also follow Kotaku. Because if a legitimate leak occurs or if a real teaser is published, we will report it as quickly and accurately as possible.
