The Committee for the Pricing of Oil Derivatives in the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources decided during a meeting held today, Saturday, to reduce the price of 90 octane gasoline by 30 fils, octane gasoline 95 by 35 fils, diesel by 50 fils and gas by 40 fils.
According to a statement distributed by the committee today, the oil derivatives pricing committee held its monthly meeting to determine the prices of selling oil derivatives locally for the period from (1-31 March next), during which the global prices of crude oil and oil derivatives were reviewed during February and compared to their counterparts for the month of January last, as it showed World price rates are down on the prices of oil derivatives during February.
According to the statement, this was reflected on the prices of local oil derivatives during the same period in varying proportions, as the sale price of gasoline 90 octane during the month of March decreased by 30 fils to 745 fils / liter instead of 775 fils / liter, and the price of gasoline Octane 95 decreased by 35 fils to 965 Fils / liter instead of 1000 fils / liter, and the price of diesel decreased by 50 fils / liter to 555 fils / liter instead of 605 fils / liter, and the price of kerosene decreased by 40 fils / liter to 555 fils / liter instead of 595 fils / liter .
It should be noted that the average price of Brent crude fell from $ 63.8 a barrel for the month of January to $ 55.4 a barrel in February.
As usual, the committee decided to fix the price of the gas cylinder at 7 dinars.
