Not a single group of Scouts en Gidsen Vlaanderen was involved in an incident in Han-sur-Lesse, about which the newspaper La Meuse-Namur wrote on Thursday. Spokesman Jan Van Reusel reports this on Thursday evening.

The newspaper reported that a group of Flemish scouts were in command received to leave a meadow on which they had been camping since the beginning of August because they were making too much noise.
Scouts en Gidsen Vlaanderen, however, states that none of its scout groups in that region was involved in such an incident. Groups have to register their camp online before they leave, and that registration shows that one group in the region is at camp, who has had no problems with the authorities.
In the meantime, the story has taken on a life of its own on social media, while according to Van Reusel it is not true that it was a scout group. It may have been a group from another youth movement, says Van Reusel.
