No changes in the SPKC list: self-isolation exceptions apply when returning from the Vatican and Iceland – Latvia – News

The self-isolation threshold in Latvia is currently set at 50 cases per 100,000 inhabitants. This figure is lower among the EU and EEA countries only in the Vatican and Iceland. Currently, the highest incidence is in the Czech Republic, where the figure is 1518.3 cases per 100,000 population.

Self-isolation in Latvia must still be observed when returning or traveling in transit through San Marino, where it is the second highest incidence in Europe. Self-isolation must also be respected when returning from Monaco, Andorra, Estonia, Slovenia, Spain, Slovakia, France, Sweden, Malta, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Lithuania, Italy, Belgium, Austria, Switzerland, Poland, Hungary, Cyprus, Romania, Bulgaria, Greece, Germany, Croatia, Liechtenstein, Denmark, Finland and Norway.

For countries outside the EU and the EEA, self-isolation is not required when traveling from Rwanda, South Korea, Thailand, Singapore, New Zealand and Australia. These countries are among those allowed to cross the EU’s external border.

When entering Latvia from other countries of the world not mentioned in the lists, self-isolation must be observed.
