Nissan Egypt addressed its distributors in Egypt. To introduce the 2021 model of the Sunny Sedan, before the end of the first half of this year.
According to the advertiser, the new car will come with the same exterior design that the 2020 version possesses, but it will provide some interior equipment, including a 7-inch touch screen control and a rear-view camera.
The announcement of the 2021 version of the Nissan Sunny comes in the same old design. It dashed the hopes of many consumers who were expecting the launch of the all-new car that was unveiled globally in April 2019.
Reports suggest that the launch of the new generation of Nissan Sunny, which is inspired by its sister Nissan Altima in Egypt, will not be before mid-2021 next, and it will be fully imported.
As for the Nissan Sunny Model 2021, the local in its old form is also presented without new on the level of mechanical capabilities and the engine, as it will be available with a 4-cylinder engine with a capacity of 1.5 liters with a capacity of 108 hp, and a maximum torque of 134 Newton meters, and two types of transmissions, the first manual of 5 speeds and the second automatic 4-speed.
The car can start at a speed of 100 km per hour in 15.5 seconds, and on average it consumes 6.9 liters of fuel per 100 km, and reaches a top speed of 178 km per hour.
Sunny stands for 15-inch sport and metallic wheels in this year’s version, and its rear storage space – the trunk – reaches 490 liters.
The vehicle is equipped with a number of protections, most notably the driver and front passenger airbags, ABS, and electronic brake force distribution – EBD.
2020 model prices start from 191.900 pounds for the manual version, and the first automatic category sells 2133.000 pounds. As for the second category, its official price reaches 222,000 pounds, and the third category, fully equipped, is sold at 233,000 pounds.
The locally assembled Nissan Sunny is one of the most popular and sold cars in Egypt in the past three years. It also managed during the first quarter of this year to occupy the second place in the list of best-selling cars, after total sales reached to 2.922 units.
