Prepare your wallet, Nintendo is planning games and merch for the 35th anniversary of Super Mario Bros.
As usual lately, Nintendo has decided to release a Nintendo “Direct” (because it was a pre-recorded broadcast) special for the 35th anniversary of Super Mario Bros. (released September 13, 1985 on Famicom).

Next, Big N announced new multiplayer content for the Super Mario 3D World port that will arrive on Nintendo Switch on February 12, 2021 under the name Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury.

Still with the same ingenuity, Nintendo announced a Super Mario Bros. Battle Royale style in Tetris 99. But here we are facing “only” 34 other players. Defeated enemies will appear in others’ levels until only one is left standing. It will be a time-limited experience between October 1, 2020 and March 31, 2021 and only available to Nintendo Switch Online subscribers.

After Nintendo Labo, the Kyoto firm shows that toys are still in its DNA with Mario Kart Live: Home Circuit. Roughly speaking, everyone has their own remote-controlled kart (via the Nintendo Switch).
