The planning of Nintendo Switch games still looks sparse; the Japanese gaming giant, unlike last year, has not clarified what it plans to do with the Switch this year. That picture may change, because Nintendo has announced a Direct Mini.
That Mini Direct will take place later today, as Nintendo of America says via Twitter. The Direct Mini is a ‘Partner Showcase’, which means that it addresses titles developed and published by Nintendo partners.
On 7/20 we’ll debut the first #NintendoDirect Mini: Partner Showcase, a series focused on titles from our development & publishing partners. We’ll share a few updates on a small group of previously-announced #NintendoSwitch games. Check out the full video release at 7am PT. pic.twitter.com/GbEbxVL6fD

However, clarity about the so-called ‘first party’ titles is still not available. Updates on, for example, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild sequel, or announcements about a new Mario game, are not included this afternoon.
