The police were warned around 7 a.m. Witnesses had heard four or five shots in the vicinity of Poolsterstraat and Junostraat, and saw someone leave in a car. Police subsequently found four shells.
One man was later arrested on Poolsterstraat with the so-called approach technique for dangerous suspects, which is used if, for example, there is a suspicion that someone has a firearm or stabbing weapon. Six others were arrested in a house on the Snoekenveen.
All nine suspects have been taken to the police station. After questioning, four people were sent, the investigation is no longer focused on them. Three men aged between 26 and 20 are still in prison, along with two women aged 55 and 20. All five are suspected of being involved in the shooting incident. Their exact role is under investigation, as is the trigger for the shooting.
The police are still investigating who or what exactly was shot at.
