Is the word “Luder” really as common in Tyrol as the ÖVP governor’s deputy claims?
The word Luder means the same in Tyrol as in Vienna. The fact that women spend weeks thinking about what some man said about them shows to me how little they have emancipated themselves. No man would waste a second on it.

Sexism means that you are treated differently, worse because of your gender.
Each and every one of us is sometimes sexist. We all have prejudices about the opposite sex. But women measure by two standards. If it is an advantage for them, they emphasize their being a woman and their need for protection. If it is disadvantageous, they ask not to be reduced to gender. If you do “women’s film festivals”, panel discussions for “women in art” and for “women in business”, then you discriminate even more against women, because it suggests that they are in the “right economy”, with the “right ones” Films ”cannot keep up. You set up a kind of kindergarten for them. And in doing so, you achieve the opposite: You prevent the joint competition between men and women at eye level.
