The Big Apple has taken on water. Several subway stations were flooded Thursday in New York, while storm Elsa is expected this Friday.
Between 5 and 10 cm of water fell during a series of thunderstorms. Metro users posted images and videos of some flooded stations on Twitter.
Footage shows passers-by waist deep in water trying to cross a pool of black water leading to the docks.

Closed axes
Some lines and directions have been temporarily closed, including in the Bronx. Leaving the offices is particularly disrupted.
On her Twitter account, the New York police shared images where we see her rescuing motorists stuck in the water.
