The composition of the Draghi government and the boundaries assigned to the new Ministry for Ecological Transition have disappointed a large part of the 5 Star Movement. An expected reaction, given the outcome – far from plebiscitary – of the vote on Rousseau on Thursday (with the yes of 59.3 percent), that the political leader of the 5 Stars, Vito Crimi, he had defined “binding” for parliamentarians.
After reading the list of ministers, in the chats of the parliamentarians of the Movement – already in deep agitation after the farewell of Alessandro Di Battista — messages of anger spread (“We’ve been paved”).
And on Saturday morning – a few hours before the government took the oath – the Lombard municipal councilors of the Movement launched a petition to ask that we can vote again on Rousseau for confidence in the government.

In fact, we believe that only now, having become aware of this information, it is possible to express a fully informed vote ».
The petition ends by asking Grillo for “a swift public response”.
Feedback that arrives a little later, via blog: «Today you have to choose. Either here or there ”, writes the Guarantor, effectively stopping the possibility of a new vote (which would be technically possible, according to the statute: but which would represent, for the Movement, a dramatic step).
The branch, however, does not stop. Also supported by the senator Barbara Lezzi: «There is no super-ministry that should have foreseen the merger between the Mise and the Ministry of the Environment which is the subject of the question.
