Two Deputy Ministers will travel today, May 13, north and south to inform farmers about the features of the campaign for direct payments this year.
Ivan Kapitanov will be in the “Plovdiv” hall of the Congress Center of the international fair in Plovdiv at 10 a.m., when the meeting begins.
Later, Kapitanov will head to the conference hall of the Heber Grand Hotel in Pazardzhik, where a similar forum with local farmers is planned for 3:30 p.m.
Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food Tanya Georgieva will open the information campaign by direct payments in Pleven. The meeting will be held at 10 a.m. in the “Pleven” hall in the building of the Regional Administration.
At 3:30 p.m. in room 109 in the “Preslav” home in Lovech, Georgieva will meet with farmers from the region within the framework of the 2024 information campaign.

Again today, the Minister of Agriculture Georgi Tahov will open the 16th edition of the BATA AGRO agricultural machinery exhibition at the airport near Stara Zagora. At 11 o’clock he will kick off the fair, which will last until May 17, inclusive. The Minister of Agriculture will be accompanied by his deputy Deyan Stratev.
