New update lets cheaters play against each other in Call of Duty | NOW

Infinity Ward has taken new measures against cheaters Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and the free battle royal game War zone. The developer will make up on Wednesday Twitter known to have players who are suspected of cheating against each other.

The system that links players together in multiplayer mode of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and War zone will receive an update this week that links potentially cheating gamers. All suspected cheaters enter their own matchmaking pool, allowing them to play against other cheaters without realizing it.

It is unclear how Infinity Ward selects these suspected cheaters or ensures that no innocent players end up among the cheaters.

Call of Duty: Warzone has a lot of problems with cheaters. In the first three weeks that the battle royale game was available, Infinity Ward had to repel more than 50,000 cheaters. By the middle of this month, that number was already at 70,000. In War zone there is “no tolerance for cheaters”.

In Call of Duty: Warzone 150 players are dropped into a city. They look for better equipment and weapons to defeat other players. Eliminated players can return to the playing card by winning a one-on-one battle with another shot player. Whoever remains last wins the game.
