V6 biturbo petrol engine with 2.9 liter displacement mobilizes 510 hp
The two new top versions of Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio and Alfa Romeo Stelvio Quadrifoglio are significantly more powerful with more technology, upgrades in connectivity and further increased security. A highlight is the new infotainment system with improved operation and additional functions for autonomous driving at level 2 and display of important vehicle parameters.
The new model year of Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio and Alfa Romeo Stelvio Quadrifoglio offers a variety of sophisticated technical solutions combined with functional Italian design and the inimitable style of Alfa Romeo. The 2020 variants can be recognized at first glance from the redesigned LED rear lights with darkened lenses and the dark, glossy finish of the V radiator grille and exterior mirrors. The Stelvio Quadrifoglio is now available with optional and newly designed alloy wheels in 21-inch format.
At the center of the performance update by Giulia Quadrifoglio and Stelvio Quadrifoglio is the engine, which in both models is an almost entirely aluminum V6 biturbo petrol engine with a displacement of 2.9 liters. It produces 510 hp and produces a maximum torque of 600 Newton meters at 2,500 tours. The active torque distribution of the limited slip differential in the rear axle ensures optimum transmission of engine power to the road. In the Alfa Romeo Stelvio Quadrifoglio, it is supplemented by the innovative all-wheel drive system Alfa Q4. The specific tuning of the eight-speed automatic transmission guarantees high driving comfort in all situations.
Both models are also equipped with a range of systems that increase driving pleasure and guarantee an authentic experience on the steering wheel. These include the active front spoiler on the Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio and on both models the active chassis and the driving dynamics control Alfa DNA Pro with an additional “Race” mode. If this is selected, the automatic gear change takes place within just 150 milliseconds. All electronic driver assistance systems are coordinated in real time by the Alfa Chassis Domain Control so that the performance of the Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio and Alfa Romeo Stelvio Quadrifoglio can be optimally used under all conditions.
The matching soundtrack comes from a titanium exhaust system from Akrapovič
The matching soundtrack to the driving experience on the steering wheel of Giulia and Stelvio Quadrifoglio is supplied by a dual-mode exhaust system with four tailpipes, which ensures an even more distinctive tone in Race mode. With the new model year, a titanium exhaust system from Akrapovič is also available as an option for Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio and Alfa Romeo Stelvio Quadrifoglio.
