The strain, according to her information, has no coincidences with previously identified samples of the virus. The samples were sent to the German laboratory “Charite”, they were taken from a resident of the Lviv region and a resident of the Luhansk region.
“We got the result that in some regions of Ukraine we detected a” British “strain, in some regions of Ukraine we found other changes. genetic changes in the spike protein of the coronavirus. This is a novelty – that they do not belong to either the “British” or other known strains, “said Ivanchenko-Timko.
