Shots were fired again in Brussels on Monday evening, this time in the municipality of Forest. A man was injured.
The shooting occurred around 9 p.m. in the Hoogte Hundred district in the Brussels municipality of Vorst. This was confirmed by the South police zone (Anderlecht/Vorst/Sint-Gillis), but it will not comment for the time being and refers all communication to the Brussels public prosecutor’s office.
According to La Libre Belgique, the victim was waiting for the bus when he was shot in the leg from a passing vehicle. His life is not in danger.
It has been unrest in Brussels for a number of days, with several shootings in Sint-Gillis, Anderlecht, Schaarbeek and Brussels City. There has also already been one fatality.
