Anyone staying in an asylum center and working at the same time will have to pay part of their wages from 2024. “It is only fair that asylum seekers with their own income share in the costs of their reception,” says State Secretary Nicole de Moor (CD&V). How much will that sum be? And how will the payments be monitored?
