New Patch Should Fix Rain Issues in GTA Remasters – Gaming – News

Unfortunately, all three titles in this Definitive Edition have performance issues.
The frame rate can be improved considerably by forcing DirectX12.

This can be done by:

  • In the Rockstar Launcher, click Settings
  • Click on the game below My installed games
  • Bee Launch arguments put in -dx12

You can do the same by -dx12 with a space before the target to add the properties of the shortcut of the game executable.

The only downside to this is that after a short while there will be more and more blue textures in places that will start to flicker depending on the frame rate and possibly other factors. Then the game has to be restarted to temporarily not have this.

Have to say that with ReShade active this effect is worse.

This texture pack for San Andreas is nicely done by the way:

Nice detail by the way, the minimum system requirements are as follows:

OS: Windows 10 64-bit
Processor: Intel Core i5-6600K / AMD FX-6300
Memory: 8GB
Graphics: Nvidia GeForce GTX 760 2GB / AMD Radeon R9 280 3GB
Disk: 45GB

I’ve got it running reasonably well with 1080p, a mix of low/high settings with a framerate of about 30-50, sometimes higher, sometimes lower depending on where you are and what’s happening:

Intel Core 2 Quad 9550 2,83Ghz.
Kingston 2x2GB DDR2-800
EVGA GTX560 1GB SuperClocked.
Samsung 860 EVO 500GB.

I’m actually still surprised how relatively well it runs and looks.
