Dell introduced its new 25 and 27 inch screens for artists and designers with color critical workloads. The new UltraSharp U2520Q and U2720Q monitors have a 3H anti-reflective coating and are factory calibrated to Delta-E precision <2 to ensure correct color reproduction under different conditions.

The Dell UltraSharp U2520Q and UltraSharp U2720Q displays are built on IPS panels with a resolution of 2560 × 1440 and 3840 × 2160 (respectively), a typical brightness of 350 nits, a contrast ratio of 1000: 1 and 1300: 1 ( respectively), a GtG of 8 ms response time in normal mode, and a refresh rate of 60 Hz. The 25 inch can display 16.78 million colors, while the 27 inch can display 1.07 billion colors. In addition, the two LCD screens can reproduce 95% of the DCI-P3 color gamut and 99% of the sRGB color space.

In addition to the dimensions and specifications of the IPS panels, the Dell UltraSharp U2520Q and UltraSharp U2720Q monitors are very similar. The screens have the same design with ultra-thin bezels to allow owners to more easily use multi-screen configurations (which is particularly important for 25 inch LCD screens these days because in many cases they are purchased to operate in pairs) and the same adjustable supports that can adjust tilt, swivel and swivel.

As for connectivity, the monitors have a DisplayPort 1.4 (with a DisplayPort MST output to daisy chain another screen), an HDMI 2.0 and a USB Type-C input. The latter port can provide up to 90 W of power to the host, which is enough for most 15.6-inch laptops. In addition, the units are also equipped with a dual-port USB 3.0 hub with a Type A and Type C connector. Since in many cases the U2520Q and U2720Q LCD screens will be used in offices, they have no built-in speakers, but they do have a headphone output. Speaking of offices, it should be noted that monitors can be managed remotely using Dell Command Center software.
