Former Salzburg soccer player Reinhold Yabo ended his career at the age of 29 due to persistent injury problems.
The midfielder dissolved his contract with the German Bundesliga club Arminia Bielefeld. “This decision was really not easy for me,” said Yabo according to a message. “My body, especially my knee, can no longer take the strain.” This is bitter and sad.

Yabo was under contract with Austria’s series champions between 2015 and 2018, but had a difficult time in Salzburg – also due to injuries. In 60 games he scored eight goals and 14 assists.
