TEMPO.CO, Jakarta – Dutch health authorities on Tuesday, 2 November 2021, decided to recommend booster injections coronavirus vaccine for adults. At the same time, the Dutch government is still tightening the rules given the increasing number of new cases of corona virus infection there.
Prime Minister Dutch Mark Rutte is predicted to soon announce a new policy to slow the spread of the corona virus outbreak. The new policy is likely to require residents to wear masks again, work from home (for those who allow it) and expand access that requires users to have injected the corona virus vaccine.

Currently, only restaurants and bars require visitors to show proof that they have injected the corona virus vaccine. About 84 percent of the total population of Dutch citizens, have injected the corona virus vaccine.
New positive cases of Covid-19 have increased slowly since the Government ended the social distancing policy on September 25, 2021. On Monday, November 1, 2021, new cases of corona virus infection rose to 45 percent or almost approaching the highest figure in July 2021, December 2020 and October 2020.
This condition creates tension because hospitals limit the treatment of non-Covid-19 patients so that they can accommodate more Covid-19 patients. The National Institute for Health (RIVM) estimates that one-third of Covid-19 patients currently hospitalized have not had an injection coronavirus vaccine.
