Bayern Monaco lost 0-1 to Augsburg in the Bundesliga. Bayern goalkeeper Manuel Neuer up to helping attack in injury time to save his team.
Bayern lost during a visit to Augsburg headquarters in the seventh week of the Bundesliga. Competing at WWK Arena on Saturday (17/9/2022) WIB night, Die Roten lost after the host scored a goal with Merim Berisha in the 59th minute.
In a down position, Neuer stepped forward to help attack in injury time in a corner kick situation. The Bayern goalkeeper jumped to meet the corner kick and hit him with his head.

However, Augsburg goalkeeper Rafal Gikiewicz managed to block a Neuer header. In Bayern’s continued attack, Gikiewicz again blocked the lure which entered the penalty area. Neuer became the Bayern player whose position was closest to Gikiewicz at the time.

“We have had many chances, but if you don’t score you can’t win,” Thomas Mueller said on the club’s official website.
“The latter was a great opportunity. Manuel Neuer nearly scored his first goal as a professional, but Rafal Gikiewicz is in good shape,” he said.
By losing to Augsburg, Bayern Munich means they haven’t won their last four straight Bundesliga games. Julian Nagelsmann’s men recorded three draws and one defeat.
The series of minor results does Bayern Monaco stuck in fourth place German championship standings with 12 points in seven games. They are three points behind Borussia Dortmund at the top.
