Netflix will stop working on Nintendo 3DS and Wii U from June 30 – Gaming – News

I don’t understand why people actually want that.

Before someone presses the -1 button, I really don’t get it nowadays, almost everyone has a smartphone or a tablet, most TVs have some form of access to Netflix.

And do not include any Chromecast (support).

I have a Switch, I use it for gaming so that’s why I don’t really understand this, 5+ years ago or so I can still imagine that people wanted this (aside from that the 3ds Netflix app was US only, the same was true at the time for the PS Vita) but now I don’t understand why people want this on the Switch (or other new consoles) so badly.

Does it add something that I am overlooking?

Looking at the comments, there is therefore some use to use a Netflix Switch app.

So I think I also immediately know why I don’t quite get it, thanks for the answers
