The gods seem to be gracious, at least when it comes to their own series. Netflix has extended the production of Blood of Zeus for another season. The second season of the animation series could start next year.

It was the end of October when the new animated series Blood of Zeus premiered on Netflix. When we wondered when Season 2 of the Greek Mythology animated series would come, we didn’t even know if there would be a second season at all. But now it’s clear: the cartoon gods are returning!
After a war between the gods of Olympus and the titans loomed in season 1 of Blood of Zeus, things will now continue. The series from the creators of Castlevania focuses on Heron, a normal mortal who lives in ancient Rome. He becomes mankind’s last hope when the city is attacked by an army of evil demons. It soon turns out that Heron is not quite so normal after all, because the blood of the god father Zeus flows in him.
Season 2 will follow up on what happened in the first eight episodes. Zeus and Hero are dead, and Hades does the honors. You can watch the announcement trailer on Twitter:
