SQUARE ENIX announced today that NEO: The World Ends with You, the sequel to the popular action role-playing game The World Ends with You, will be released in summer 2021 for the PlayStation 4 computer entertainment system and Nintendo Switch system.
NEO: The World Ends with You moves players to the streets of Shibuya, where they will participate in the “Reapers’ Game,” a game of life and death fights. As Rindo, players must explore the heart of Tokyo to unravel the mysteries behind the sinister game they are forced to play.
NEO: The World Ends with You brings modern Shibuya to life in a unique comic-inspired style. Players can explore this city to their heart’s content, soaking up the lights, sounds and culture, as well as defeat monsters with allies in action-packed combat and complete missions to take control of their destiny.
