“There is no indication yet of his participation in the Brazilian national team,” says RMC Sport.
PSG coach Thomas Tuhel said on Friday that he did not think Neumar would be able to play for the national team.
“If he plays, it means he’s not injured, and that’s bad news. I have the information that he’ll be back on the field after the break,” says the coach.
After the break of international matches, PSG will play in Monaco on November 20.
Tuhel had to reckon with the full infirmary, which included Marco Verati, Mauro Ikardi, Leandro Paredes, Julian Draksler and Juan Bernat. The coach hopes that Icardi and Paredes will be able to return to the pitch on Wednesday in a match with “Leipzig”.
“I really hope they will be with us on Monday. We have to come to terms with the fact that they will only be able to play after one training session,” he said. “Normally, I’d say they’re not ready for the Champions League, but they might have to play right now.”
Neumars released two more games after the red card against Marseille’s Olympigue after the start of the season due to Covid-19. He has scored two goals this season and made four assists.
