Israeli doctor Boris Bril decided to dispel the myths about COVID-19, which are common in Russia and other countries.
He presented his arguments on his Instagram.
First of all, he explained that the main mistake in treating patients with coronavirus infection is pneumonia therapy.
According to Brill, COVID-19 is a systemic disease, not pneumonia.
“They die from ARDS (acute respiratory distress syndrome – approx.) And from a cytokine storm, thrombosis. Nothing to do with pneumonia, ”Bril said.
According to the Israeli physician, it is this delusion that becomes the reason for the wrong diagnosis in Russia, and as a result of treatment.
In particular, the treatment of a viral lesion is mild by cardinally other drugs than the treatment of pneumonia. And incorrect treatment, even for preventive purposes, can only lead to a worsening of the patient’s condition, Bril explained.

The specialist is sure that immunomodulating, antiviral agents, and indirect anticoagulants “are not able to help in the treatment of any disease”.
The same applies to the prevention of COVID-19 with regard to HIV drugs, vitamins and zinc.
Brill explained that in the treatment of viral diseases it is necessary to prescribe antiviral drugs, not antibiotics. And the course of the disease depends on saturation, the state of consciousness and the number of respiratory movements.
