NNA – Russian President Vladimir Putin today denounced the leaks of the Nord Stream gas pipeline connecting Russia to Germany, calling them “international terrorism”, stressing that they serve the interests of the United States, Poland and Ukraine.
The Russian president said in a televised speech to an energy forum, according to “Agence France Presse”: “The beneficiaries are clear why (this incident) reinforces the geopolitical importance of the remaining gas systems, those that cross the territories of the Poland (…) and Ukraine, which Russia built at its own expense. ” But also (benefiting) “the United States, which can now supply its energy at high prices”.
