The National Meterological Service issued a second-degree (orange) alert for Tuesday, reports MTI. According to them, severe thunderstorms, gusty winds, hail and large amounts of precipitation are expected.
According to the announcement of the OMSZ, a cold front will arrive from the west from Tuesday morning, due to which thunderstorms should be expected. This will first reach South Transdanubia, and then gradually reach the rest of the country.
Storms can bring winds of up to 90-100 kilometers and hail. 20-30 millimeters of rain may fall in the southwestern part of the country.
