Napoli get caught up in the law if Kekeh goes to Juventus Headquarters

Naples

Naples won’t go to Turin to face off Juventus. If they still go, Partenopei will be caught in the law.

Naples scheduled against Juventus in the third week Italian League. The duel took place at Allianz Stadium, Turin, Monday (5/10/2020) in the morning WIB.

Match kick-off in the next few hours. Until now Napoli have not moved towards Turin.

The Local Health Authority (ASL) prohibits Napoli from leaving the house because it has the potential to transmit the Corona virus. This was triggered by Napoli’s meeting with Genoa, which ended in a 6-0 victory.

After that match, Genoa announced that 14 people had contracted COVID-19. Napoli then followed by checking and the result was four people who tested positive for Corona.

Napoli’s attorney, Mattia Grassani, has communicated with Lega Serie A, FIGC and Juventus. The Partenopei is currently in a position to be unable to make his way to Turin.

“There are documents and communications from the Local Health Authority and Regione Campania asking our players not to leave their homes,” Grassani told La Gazzetta dello Sport.

“We tell Lega Serie A, FIGC and Juventus that the team cannot go to Turin unless we clearly want to commit a criminal offense,” he continued.

According to several media in Italy, Napoli have officially asked to postpone tonight’s match via an email sent by Azzurri President Aurelio De Laurentiis.

“Flying to Turin would violate the decision of the Local Health Authority and risk all legal consequences. For this reason we ask the Serie A Professional League to postpone the match to another date for reasons which are beyond our control,” read the Napoli email.

Juventus in the attitude have no intention of postponing the match. The Old Lady even uploaded a few hours ago the schedule for the Juventus vs Napoli event.

Serie A and UEFA rules state that as long as a team has 13 players with one of them the goalkeeper the match can continue. That means Napoli will be declared defeated 0-3 due to Walk Out (WO) status if they are not present at Allianz Stadium.
