FC Nantes, who finished the 2019-2020 Ligue 1 season in 13th place, hope to achieve a better exercise for 2020-2021. For this, the Nantes players will do two training camps as well as several friendly matches. At the moment, three friendlies are known, as explained West France.
Two friendly matches against Ligue 1 clubs
First of all, the people of Nantes will be leaving for an internship near Annecy this Sunday, July 12. They will complete a week’s internship there which will end with a friendly match against Stade Nyonnais, the Swiss team. This meeting will take place on Saturday July 18 at 5 p.m. and FC Nantes explained that, for security reasons, this meeting will take place behind closed doors. Then, the Nantes people will make two other friendly matches, against teams of Ligue 1. The first will be against Bordeaux, on August 1st in La Roche-sur-Yon. The second will be against Saint-Etienne, on August 15 in Dinard. As a reminder, the Ligue 1 season will begin the weekend of August 22-23.
