It went fast for songwriter Yves Paquet. With the song ‘Mein Stadt’ he already won many hearts. Something the rerun of The Subs also stood out, because they made ‘UFO’ with him. With his single ’25 -28 ′ he says he has taken a new path, as he recently listened to 80’s-90’s music (The Police, Genesis, Semisonic, New Radicals). The beginning of a new chapter for Paquet.

A nice surprise this morning when we heard the new single by Yves Paquet. A summer track, with which he explains his own renewed style. Smooth accompanied by some ooh’s, but with a catchy chorus. For the song, he worked with London producer Ant Whiting (John Newman, Ella Eyre, Becky Hill, Blanche).
About the song he says: “I grew up in a village in the countryside, like many villages in Belgium. The song is kind of Mrs. Robinson story of how your first summer sweetheart in the small village is not the love of your life. It is not the end of the world, but it feels like it at the time. I wanted to capture the sound of summer in my youth. ” We are curious about more news. That should arrive this year.
