Music Producer Files Lawsuit Accusing Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs of Involvement in Shooting at Los Angeles Studio

Music Producer Accuses Sean “Diddy” Combs of Involvement in Shooting and Sexual Harassment

A music producer who is suing Sean “Diddy” Combs is doubling down on allegations that Combs and his son were involved in a shooting at a Los Angeles recording studio in 2022, as well as allegations of harassment.

The Lawsuit

Combs was sued by Rodney “Lil Rod” Jones, a producer on his most recent album, who alleged Combs sexually harassed, drugged, and threatened him from September 2022 to November 2023.

In the initial complaint, Jones also detailed a shooting at a “writers and producers camp” at Chalice Recording Studio in Los Angeles on Sept. 12, 2022. The suit alleges that Combs, his son Justin, and Justin’s friend were present during the shooting.

The lawsuit also alleges that Combs is involved in a “sex trafficking venture” and part of a “RICO enterprise.” A RICO enterprise refers to a group of individuals acting together to violate the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act, which targets organized crime.

The Shooting

Jones reported that after a heated argument in a nearby bathroom, he heard gunshots and found Justin’s friend, identified as “G,” lying on the restroom floor, bleeding from his leg/hip area. Jones claimed that Combs told him to falsely inform the police that the shooting occurred outside the studio.

Contradicting Jones’ account, Los Angeles police determined that the shooting occurred a distance away from the studio. Combs’ attorney, Shawn Holley, also confirmed that Combs and his son were in a different part of the studio when the shooting happened.

Private Investigator Mentioned in Amended Complaint

In the amended complaint, Jones alleged that a private investigator linked to Combs sought to intimidate and bribe a close friend for information that could harm Jones’ reputation. This allegation adds another layer to the ongoing legal battle.

Jones Not Paid for Work on Combs’ Album

Jones further stated that he was not compensated for his work on Combs’ album and is seeking $30 million in damages. According to the complaint, Jones had an oral agreement that included specific payment terms and producer credits.

Previous Suits

Combs has faced multiple lawsuits accusing him of sexual assault. Singer Cassie, along with three other women, filed separate lawsuits against Combs. While Cassie’s lawsuit was settled, the other three cases are still pending.

Combs has denied all allegations and plans to fight for his name and the truth.
