Theater, music, tango, cinema and exhibitions are at the center of the autumn program of L’Agenda Cultural de Canet, which will include specific activities for the youth group as a novelty.
The 10th edition of the “Vila de Canet” amateur theater competition. It will be one of the most important events of this quarter. An event that will start from 23 October until Saturday 26 November with five performances that will take place on Sunday in the auditorium. A competition that sees the collaboration of the Grup de Teatre el Molinet, protagonist of the closing act.
Another of the prominent appointments will be next Sunday, October 16, in the auditorium, where the Opera singer-songwriter, Maria Faubel He will present his own songs with verses of great Valencian poets, with the collaboration of prominent musicians starting at 7:30 pm.
The music will continue on Saturday 22 October with the celebration of 54 Assembly of Musical Societies of the Valencian Communitywhich from 9:30 will fill the streets of Canet d’en Berenguer with notes and melodies.
For Saturday 5 November, at 6:30 pm, screening of the documentary “Shot”a film that deals with Franco’s repression through dozens of testimonies.
Another novelty on the program will be the tango evening on November 19th in which the Canet Musical Society and the AEscena dance group will participate.
Music will continue to be the protagonist on November 27 with the commemoration of Santa Cecilia, for which another concert by the Canet Musical Societyin which the orchestra, Banda B and Orchestra B will participate.
The exhibitions at the Casa de los Llano will be presented this fall. You can still go and visit the intimate and very personal exhibition of drawings by the local artist Benjamin Pons Dillet, “El pati de ca meua”, which will remain open to the public until next 22 October.
