A suspected bomb found in a stairwell on Alfred-Schmidt-Straße called the police on Saturday afternoon. After a call from an almost 80-year-old man, ordnance experts rushed to Thalkirchen.
The caller had already carried the supposed World War I grenade himself outside. In the metal case, however, there was no explosive hidden – rather the apparatus of a pepper mill. It costs 100 euros in the mail order business.
