In the capital of Poland, Warsaw, they came to evict a tenant who had not paid rent for a year. However, what they saw shocked the police – they found the mummified body of a man there.

In the Warsaw district of Prague-Poludnia, a mummified corpse of a man was found in one of the apartments. It turned out that the tenant did not pay for housing for a long time, but the owners of the house could not evict him. Every time they went there, no one opened it for them. The locals complained that in the summer of 2022 they heard a putrid smell from the apartment, but they also decided not to interfere.
When the police arrived at the scene, the administration of the house and its inhabitants were convinced that no one lived in the apartment. However, the mummified body of a man was found there.
It is known that in October 2022, due to non-payment with the tenant, the contract was terminated, but it could only be evicted by a court decision.
The police confirmed that a body was found in the said apartment. The identity of the man has already been established, but the time of death could not be established. Joanna Wegrzyniak, a spokeswoman for the Warsaw District Police Department Prague-Poludne, said that measures are ongoing to help establish the date of the tenant’s death.
