MU is on the right track to lift the trophy

Edinson Cavani assess Manchester United are on the right track to win the trophy this season. MU still has a chance to win titles in three competitions.

MU will visit the King Power Stadium to face off Leicester City in the FA Cup quarterfinals, Monday (22/3/2021) early morning WIB. The Red Devils are chasing victory to get closer to realizing their title ambition this season.

Apart from in FA Cup, MU is still a chance to get the title at Europa League and Premier League. Although in the Premier League it is quite difficult. The reason is, MU, who is in second place with 57, is 14 points adrift of The Citizens at the top of the standings.

MU is also in a pretty good trend in the last five games by winning three wins and two draws. The three victories were also crucial.

They won the Manchester Derby 2-0 with Manchester City. MU then overthrew fifth place, West Ham United 1-0. And in the last match, the Red Devils eliminated AC Milan in the Europa League after winning 1-0 at the San Siro.

Reflecting on this, MU attackers, Edinson Cavani, judging that his team is on the right track to win the trophy this season. The Uruguayan striker said that United just needed to maintain focus and determination to make it happen.

“If we all believe that we will be able to achieve what we want. We need to maintain concentration and have the determination we need to be able to do it,” he said. Cavani quoted from MU’s official website.

“That’s why I say it depends on us, it depends on how much we want to be successful,” he explained.

If able to do so, MU will end the fasting title they experienced in three seasons. The last time they won the title was in the 2016/2017 season when they won the English League Cup and Europa League.
