MotoGP Styria 2020 – Failed to finish first, Pol Espargaro remains satisfied

BOLASPORT.COM – Racer Red Bull KTM, Pol Espargaro, admitted that he was still satisfied even though he failed to finish first in the race MotoGP Stryria 2020 at Red Bull Ring, Sunday (23/8/2020).

Pol Espargaro almost recorded a first finish after winning over the two riders behind him Jack Miller (Pramac Racing) and Miguel Oliveira (KTM Tech3).

Pol Espargaro made contact with Jack Miller who sent both riders wide at the last corner.

This condition was exploited by Miguel Oliveira so that he could finish first with the best record time of 16 minutes 56.205 seconds.

The second position is occupied by Jack Miller 0.316 seconds adrift and Pol Espargaro finishing third with a difference of 0.540 seconds from Oliveira.

“Jack and I have fought hard. In the end none of us won,” said Espargaro as quoted by BolaSport.com from Speedweek.com.

“We enjoyed it, and I hope the fans enjoy it too because this is the kind of competition we show,” said Espargaro.

Espargaro said that when he was winning in first position, he thought that Miller was trying to get in to take his position.
