Marca Marquez became the best in qualifying with a time of one minute and 55.214 seconds. Baby Alien returns to pole position after three years.

The last pole position obtained by Marc Marquez was achieved at the 2019 Japanese MotoGP. At that moment, the Spanish rider also came out the winner.
The boss MotoGP classification 2022, Fabio Quartararo, will start from the ninth position. Ride Yamaha is now collecting 211 points.
Quartararo’s competitor, Francesco Bagnaia, will start from twelfth position. The Ducati rider is 10 points behind El Diablo.
The Japanese front row of MotoGP is completed by Johann Zarco and Brad Binder. The second row was occupied by Marverick Vinales, Jorge Martin and Aleix Espargaro.
