The mother of the kidnapped boy Timofey Govorov Yekaterina “was on duty” outside her ex-husband’s house for two and a half years. The child was kept by a grandmother with a common-law husband and her son.
According to Katerina, the boy almost fell out of the window. After the court’s decision, there was no one to execute it. Journalists forced the performers to do their job.
The child’s father, Maxim Govorov, will soon be convicted for not fulfilling the court’s decision and not giving the child to the mother. He hid the boy with his mother and her partner.
The child was found in a hotel 500 kilometers from Kiev. Timofey was hidden by his grandmother Raisa Govorova with her partner Igor Knyazev in the Carpathians.
“I didn’t believe it when I took him in my arms. It turned out to be more difficult than I thought. My legs were giving way, I wanted to pinch myself several times,” Ekaterina admits.
