What an unimaginable act!

According to the police, a mother killed her two children on the Pentecost weekend in Schwieberdingen in Baden-Württemberg. The 56-year-old then committed suicide in the neighboring town of Korntal-Münchingen, police and prosecutors said.

Mother’s corpse leads to the killed children

According to initial investigations, the 13-year-old daughter and her 17-year-old brother were killed in the family’s apartment between Sunday evening and Monday evening.

According to the public prosecutor’s office, there will be no autopsy. “Because third-party involvement in the crime can be ruled out,” a spokesman said. The mother’s corpse led to the apartment and the killed children. “The corresponding investigations then led to the discovery of the dead children,” said a spokesman for the public prosecutor’s office.

Backgrounds are still unclear

With a view to the personal rights of those involved, no further details could be given, the public prosecutor said. The background is still unclear.
